There are two types of smartphone brands in the market. One, which every time launches its smartphone with the advanced technology to provide even better and better user experience and Second are those companies which launch their smartphone for the one time profit to compete with other smaller brands.

Reliance Jio has now more than 160.1 Million users and they have already launched its JioPhone selling at the affordable price. However, it seems like not fit in the smartphone category. But how can we forget competitors? Vodafone, Idea, and Airtel these companies are planning to launch an affordable ‘4G Smartphones‘ at the low prices.

As the recent report suggests these three telecom companies Vodafone, Idea, and Airtel are in talks with the smartphone companies in order to launch the 4G devices starting from just Rs. 500. However, it seems that these three telcos will sell smartphones with their own affordable internet packs so buyers have to pay some rate on monthly basis.

Forgetting about the other details for a minute. Let’s take a look at some specifications. As per the report suggests, the 4G smartphone may be packed with the low power chipsets like MediaTek and Spreadtrum. But still, we are in the dark of their generation. Shobhit Srivastava is a research analyst at Counterpoint Technology Market Research. He said to the Economics Times — “The launch of low-cost 4G chipsets from Spreadtrum and MediaTek with Google’s Android Go strategy makes it possible for OEMs to offer cheap smartphones that live up to the first-time smartphone user’s expectations.

So, here’s a hope for the people. It will support the Google’s Android Go applications. Furthermore, if they will not be useful to perform the heavy task on them. But I think this is acceptable. For the Rs. 500 this might be the deal breaker for all. Let us know what you think in the comment section.
