Apple’s future products will have Apple’s own microLED panels. Apple is designing and producing its own displays for the first time ever. However, the company has not unveiled the exact technology, they are using to produce displays for their iPhones, iPads, watches, etc.

According to the Bloomberg, the report suggests that the Apple producing the number of MicroLED displays in “secret manufacturing facility near its California headquarters”. So, it is clear that the company is now planning to do the significant investment in the development of their own MicroLED screens. For those people who do not know, MicroLED screens and OLED displays are different. MicroLED screens have different light-emitting compounds which also helps to make the device, even more, slimmer with the brighter displays. Also, it consumes the less energy.

As per the reports, Apple company not planning to install this MicroLED displays first on the iPhone. Apple watch will be their first product. Although, there is no other information that can lead us to know when the production will be ready.

The MicroLED displays are far more difficult to produce. Compared to OLED displays will help Apple devices to deliver even better user experience than before. Apple products are known for its quality. Because of the better integration of hardware and software, Apple products are capable of to provide an acceptable result.

The reports also claim that Apple has 62,000 square foot manufacturing facility is located in Santa Clara, California. There around 300 engineers are designing and producing MicroLED screens which Apple is going to use for their future products. However, it will be not easy for Apple to produce such amount of MicroLED displays in just less time and until MicroLED takes place on the Apple product, Apple will keep installing the Samsung’s OLED panels. It is said that the company will launch their new massive 6.5-inch display iPhone in upcoming months.
