LG G7 ThinQ is now around the corner. The device has already got the certification in Korea and got the model tag of LGE GM-710. Until now, we were playing with the renders of this device and some rumored specifications. The first benchmark result is now popped up on the internet reveals some interesting key specifications of this device.

Scores Are Inline With Samsung Galaxy S9

Well, the image spotted in the Geekbench database where the results are obtained using the LG G7’s prototype. As you can see in the Geekbench results, the prototype is running over the Android’s latest operating system – Oreo. Which is not surprising by any means for us. Okay, indeed the phone is going to be fueled by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC which will be paired with the 4-gigabytes of RAM. Unfortunately, Geekbench results don’t show the GPU information.

Well, here we can take a hint from the Snapdragon 845 chipset. With this SoC, the phone will have up to 2.8GHz of clock speed. However, the Geekbench result shows the minimum base frequency of 1.77 GHz. It got the 2312 score in the single core performance which is pretty impressive and 8979 scores during the multi-core performance.

LG G7 ThinQ has managed well in the test. The single core and multi-core scores are in line with the top Samsung Galaxy S9 results. The main reason can be their computing power. As both devices have the same SoC – Snapdragon 845. The Snapdragon 845 chipset supports the 4K video recording at the 60 frames per second.
