More than millions of applications are available on Google Play Store made by the different developers. Although you can also upload application on Google Play Store and get the downloads. Google has removed over a 60 applications from the Play Store because they were showing the Porn Ads in the users mobile phone because of the Malware.

As per research done by the CheckPoint, their researchers have revealed the malicious coding on the Google Play Store. They found that this code was hiding itself inside the more than 60 gaming applications which was mainly aiming the children gaming apps. From the 60 gaming application some of the game apps have over a 3 million downloads and some of them have 7 millions downloads.

This malicious application named as “Adult Swine” and as per research done by the Check Point, it displays the ads from the web that are highly inappropriate and pornographic, attempts to trick users into installing fake ‘security applications’ and then asking users to register for the premium services.

How it Works?

Whenever this application is installed in the device, it automatically starts the malicious activity when the user reboots the device or unlocks the device. When it is activated it contacts the its server to report for the successful installation and send the every data about the device and its server automatically decides the course of operation. Server gives the instruction on whether to hide the app icon or not, which ads to display and over which apps to display ads. However they have created smart server that automatically blocks its ads from the browsing apps and social networks.

The malicious code then checks in the infected device which app is running and according to that i begins to display the inappropriate ads. When the ads are starting to display it comes from the two sources, first from the main source and second from the malicious code’s own library, which mainly contains the sensitive and pornographic ads.

The picture is a screenshot of that Ad taken by the CheckPoint. On the some applications users have also left the reviews that is “Don’t Install for Your Kids. I did and my son opened it and bunch of thilthy hardcore porn pictures popped up.”

Furthermore, this also shows the fake screen that Virus has been detected on your device and gives the fake app link to download it and install it in your device and when you press, it redirects to an app in the Google Play Store with a somewhat questionable connection to virus removal.

However, Google has removed all that applications and they have already warned the developers and blocked them for uploading an app on the Google Play Store. CheckPoint has uploaded all the application names in the list which got infected. You can find it here.
