Oh, how can we forget the Nokia Lumia smartphones! Those are the first ever smartphone released with the Windows operating system. However, because of the high-level limitations in the OS, the Windows mobile phones couldn’t cover the mobile phone market. Earlier the company was controlled by the Microsoft. Now, it is controlled by the HMD Global. The performance of the Nokia mobile phone was on the ground base, but with the launch of the last Nokia 6, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 series phones, the company got so much peak in the market.

Moonraker

Microsoft has made such a huge effort to launch their companies Windows smartphones as well as smartwatches. Eventually, at some point, Microsoft decided to only launch only smartphones, not the smartwatches. At that time the company was working on the one smartwatch prototype named as a ‘Moonraker‘. But because the company decided to leave the wearable markets, they never released this watch. According to the older reports, Microsoft company wanted to launch their new Moonraker smartphone along with their new handset – Lumia 930.

Well, looking at the video, the prototype of this smartwatch has some popular gestures like swipe down, swipe up. There is only one physical button is provided on the front, which can be used to close any application or switch between the recent apps. The interface looks like simple. In the video, ProtoBetaTest has managed to update this Nokia Moonraker watch with the latest released firmware, which a person is trying to show in the video.

Diving into its specifications, Moonraker watch has LCD display placed on the top having the resolution of 240 x 190 pixels. It has some more features inbuilt like Gyroscope and NFC. That means a user can be able to pay for anything using their smartwatch NFC. Of course itis the made by the Microsoft, so, user can remotely handle this watch using their Windows phone.

The reason is exactly unknown, why the Microsoft company abanded its Moonraker project. But, if you can pick the previous records, the company was almost down in the market. The Lumia smartphones were not doing well on the Android devices.
