Nothing Much Impressive!

The sales pitch manual now adds furthermore specifications. As per reported by the Smartprix, the smartphone will have an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 chipset. The four Cortex-A73 cores will have the clock speed of 2GHz and remaining four Cortex-A53 cores will have the clock speed same, of 2GHz. The Helio P60 chipset is coupled with the 6GB of RAM. I think this not everyone wants in 2018. Adding the further information from its sales pitch manual, it suggests, Oppo has packed this phone with the 16-megapixels rear camera sensor having the f/2.0 aperture lens which is capable to record the 4K video. However, there is no information, will it have a super slow-mo feature or not. On the front, it will have 25-megapixels selfie camera. So, Oppo could say in branding, “Oppo F7 – Selfie Camera”. The selfie camera is capable to take AI Selfie, AI Beauty, and Real-time HDR. This reminiscent me of the iPhone X’s Animoji and Galaxy S9’s AR emoji. Oppo F7 will do similar to them.

People do not want MediaTek chipset in 2018. After all the upcoming every phone will be based on the Artificial Intelligence features. This could make the fans disappointed. Anyways, Oppo has plans to launch this device with the 6.2-inch Full HD+ display having the resolution of 1080 x 2280p which is placed on the top with the highly reduced thin bezels. What Oppo says, “Super Full-Screen Panel with 19:9 aspect ratio.” Further, it will have 3400mAh battery installed. Sales pitch manual shows, it will run up to 15 hours on a single charge.

This is not surprising that it will have its own ColorOS 5.0. Oppo provided it’s every phone with it. We have seen many images of this device and already it reveals some design information includes a rear-facing fingerprint sensor, notch-like iPhone X, dual camera horizontally positioned, etc.

It is worth noting here, last week in the press note Oppo confirmed, the device will be based on the gestures but not completely like iPhone X. Also, it will have the better multitasking capability because of App-in-App view.
