JioPhone powered by KaiOS is not far behind the entry-level smartphones. JioPhone getting lot more feature just like the Android. JioPhone is running on KaiOS. KaiOS is a Linux-based mobile operating system installed on non-touch devices, having a longer battery life.

As Reported from the blog post, Facebook released a new app for the KaiOS:

Optimized to successfully accommodate the cursor function on JioPhone, it delivers a best-in-class performance for Facebook’s most popular features, such as News Feed and Photos.

When will Whatsapp be available on JioPhone?

After stopping the support for the Windows phone and Blackberry phones, Whatsapp is starting to develop an app for KaiOS. Last year, Jio sold more than one million pieces in India and that might be the reason, Whatsapp creating an app for KaiOS.

Actually, There is no new when this app will be officially available on the KaiOS or JioPhone. Let’s just wait for the day they release the app.
