The Chinese Smartphone maker Xiaomi is now on the top level in the Indian mobile phone market. Recently, according to the reports, Xiaomi has beaten the Samsung mobile market in India. According to the new data coming from the Counterpoint and Canalys, Xiaomi is now world’s second-largest smartphone market.

Canalys’s Mr. Rushabh Doshi said in their report that Samsung lost its market in India because Xiaomi found its weakness and they made some of the great featured devices just under the Rs. 15,000 includes their affordable Redmi series. Similarly, Counterpoint has done the market research and they found that the mobile device in between Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 is the fastest selling segment.

 

Xiaomi has done the same. Xiaomi has shipped 37% of the total device in all over India under this price segment. The fourth quarter of the year 2016 was not all good for the Xiaomi brand, however, it Samsung had taken out 24% of total market share at that time. But the fourth quarter of 2017 was extremely great time for the Xiaomi brand. They came over a Samsung in the Indian mobile market with the 25% of total market share.

From the above research results, it looks like Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has been having really good time in India. It is most selling phone which is on the Rank #1. Furthermore, the list includes the other devices covers the Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A. Samsung devices include the Galaxy J2, Galaxy J7 Next, Galaxy J7 Prime and J2 2016 Model.
