Google has everything set to launch its new upcoming Android version. The recent survey shows that Google’s latest operating system update Oreo has less than 1% share in the Android market. Well, with this new update Google can fulfill its Android market loss.

The upcoming Android update may be called as an Android ‘Pistachio Ice Cream’. Google has everything prepared to launch its new OS update in the upcoming month and the company is working on this new Android 9.0 – Pistachio Ice Cream since from the last year.
Google itself was branding its upcoming new operating system update from the name of Android P and there were many people who were making speculations on its names. Even on different social media platforms, people were calling it as an Android Pinecake, Android Pineapple, etc. But now according to the media reports, it will be called as a Pistachio Ice Cream and it will be available for every Android user after two months in May 2018. However, still, there is no news regarding its exact date of launch.
In this new upcoming Android update, Google is mainly focusing on some new features that include the Multiple Screen feature and Folding Display feature. So there is no doubt that Google is preparing its new update to compete with the Apple iPhone X. Honestly, these all features are already implemented in the iOS whereas Google has not even worked on this features in Android OS until now.
Furthermore, there is some other feature user will get the upcoming Android 9.0 update. The user can expect the improved mobile phone battery performance in this update. Second, Google may provide the High-Efficiency Image Format feature that will help to improve the image quality by the 1.5% and lastly, live photo feature. As usual, Google will firstly provide this new update on their Google Pixel device. So it may take more one month to be available on other devices.
As per the Android market survey, this is the Android version of which majorly people are active now. Android 6.0 Marshmellow is in the first place. After that Nougat and other older version comes up on the list.
