Lots of criticism is now on social media against the giant social media network Facebook. WhatsApp co-founder Brian Acton says to delete Facebook account. But what is the reason?

The giant social media network Facebook is allowing the Cambridge Analytica for misuse of over 50 million Facebook user’s data. This makes us really surprising. After this was spotted, Brian Acton, who is a co-founder of the WhatsApp application made a tweet on his profile to notify their follower to delete the Facebook account instantly under the campaign “#deletefacebook“. Brian Acton has founded the WhatsApp application in the partnership with Jan Koum. However, later on, this platform acquired by the Facebook for $16 billion.

Brian Acton made a tweet says, “It is time. #deletefacebook”. The hashtag #deletefacebook got fired on the Tweeter and other social media platforms for the last few days. Everyone is tweeting about this. And at the end, WhatsApp co-founder Brian Acton joined this campaign and made a tweet including this hashtag.

Cambridge Analytica accessed approximately 50 million user’s Facebook data. For such misuse of user’s private data, later US and UK authorities asked for the answer for such misbehave from the Facebook company. Yesterday on Tuesday, Facebook said, the company would face some question from the FTC (Federal Trade Commission).

Briant Acton invested into the Signal, which is the encrypted messaging application which is designed to rival the WhatsApp application last month. The new Signal encrypted messaging application is such that it protects the free expressions and enables the secure global communication.
