20 Billion Messages has Been Sent by Indian Users on WhatsApp




WhatsApp is the most famous messaging application. In India, probably the every single smartphone user picks this application for the messaging purposes. That may be because of its simple user interface. Not only that but WhtsApp brought so many different changes in their latest version.

WhatsApp added so many new features in the previous year 2017 that mainly includes the unsend messages, live location and the most lovely feature WhatsApp status that lets you share your recent activities with your contacts.

Recently WhatsApp has released the number of messages that have been exchanged by the users of India on WhatsApp. WhatsApp claims that Indian users sent over a 20 billion messages on WhatsApp on the New Year’s Evening. This breaks it previous one record of 14 billion messages sent in the previous year on this day. The global number of sent and received messages on WhatsApp is beyond the thinking and WhatsApp claims that users sent over 75 billion messages on New Year’s Evening that contains approximately 13 billion images and 5 billion videos.

WhatsApp also exposed the number of users who have used their service on the New Year’s Evening. The number is pretty large. The WhatsApp messaging service is used by over 1.2 billion people worldwide from them the number of Indian users is close to the 200 million.
