This feature is still in testing and it was first uploaded by the Technoblog. Because it is in testing, it is not available for all users. This feature works in the very simple way. When you will try to add the Instagram stories it will ask you to share it on other platforms that include Facebook as well as the WhatsApp. You can select WhatsApp to automatically add it to your story.

As per the uploaded picture by the Technoblog, the Instagram logo is clearly visible in the photo added in WhatsApp story. That may inform contacts that it is added from Instagram.
