Similar to that this new feature, as the name suggests, shows the Recommended for You on your feed anytime once when you are scrolling. If you will feel interested in any photo, you can go for further account details or more photos.

You will find this new section “Recommended For You” clearly labeled in your feed so as not to be confused with your own feed and it will contain nearly 3-5 posts.

This feature is similar to the “Explore” feature which they have already in your app. Explore feature lets you find new posts, profiles which are basically includes recommended profile or posts. But they have decided to add it in feed and the reason behind that is the simple. Instagram looking forward to more users. New users will automatically get showed in Recommended section.

Now everything depends on the user. It is not far that people will share their thoughts on this feature via social media and in Play Store and App Store.
