Realme U1 Sets to Launch on November 28 with Helio P70, Dewdrop Notch and Great Selfie Camera

A Selfie Centric Realme U1 will Launch on November 28 as Amazon Exclusive




The company hinted a new smartphone a few days ago on twitter and now Amazon reveals details about the upcoming Realme phone which is said to be the Realme U1. Realme U1 is a selfie-centric device which reveals the Xiaomi Redmi Y2.


Realme U1 will sport the Helio P70 chip. MediaTek launched Helio P70 chip last month which is an upgrade over the Helio P60 chip. Helio P70 chip is more powerful than the Helio P60 and Snapdragon 636. This chip is as good as Snapdragon 660 in CPU performance but in terms of GPU, ISP, ADC it lags behind Snapdragon 660 chipset. Also, It supports AI Features which is not present in the Snapdragon 660 chipset.


Realme U1 has dewdrop notch at the top so screen to body ratio will be higher and similar to the Realme 2 Pro. The resolution might be FullHD+ but we can’t confirm it yet.


Amazon listing says that Realme U1 will have most powerful selfie camera ever. Well, more camera information isn’t available yet so stay tuned. Realme is launching this series to reveal the Redmi Y series; Redmi Y series is also selfie centric device series.

Price and Availability

The device will launch on November 28 as Amazon Exclusive and should be available for consumers from next week. As the device is selfie centric and revealing Redmi Y series it could be priced around Rs. 12,000 most probably. If not then the pricing will be definitely less than the Rs. 13,990.
