Xiaomi’s Sub-brand Redmi launched two new smartphones in India dubbed as Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro. Redmi Note 7 is powered by Snapdragon 660 chipset while the Redmi Note 7 Pro packs Snapdragon 675 chipset. Both the device supports Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging tech but you can’t fast charge the device using the stock charger.
Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro supports Quick Charge 4.0 but the company is providing Standard 10W (5W – 2A) charger in the box. So if you want to use its potential then you need to buy the fast charging separately. Although Certified Quick Charge 4.0 is yet not available in the market so you can buy the Quick Charge 3.0 from Mi.Com which was shipped with Poco F1.
Quick Charge 3.0 rating is 18W which will significantly improve the charging time of your Redmi Note 7/ Pro device. We will test it out when we get the device so make sure to stay tuned with us.
You can buy Quick Charge 3.0 from the above link (not an affiliate). If you’re planning to buy any other charger then make sure it is certified by Qualcomm because any other charger may harm your device and reduce life.
