Your Aadhaar card is not safe! – A cybersecurity researcher found that the number of Aadhaar cards are available online. Anyone can get all bunch of Aadhaar card details just by searching “Mera Aadhaar Meri Pehchan filetype.pdf” on Google.

This is not the first time that Aadhaar card details are now publicly available for anyone. Most surprising thing is that anyone can download hundreds of Aadhaar card details directly from the Google just by searching. If you can manage to recall earlier there was a person who was selling Aadhaar details on WhatsApp, which was later on found by the Tribune team. India’s unique ID system Aadhaar hit the headlines many time earlier.

Apart from this, the cybersecurity researcher, his name is Elliot Anderson found the complete source code on the Github (a home of codes). A man who uploaded the source code says it is the Aadhaar Search Engine which can be used to search anyone’s Aadhaar card details. It works just like the Google’s search engine.

Just think about the Google search. When you type and the results shown on screen. Just like that, anyone can find the complete Aadhaar card details. This can be potentially harmful to anyone. Once again this leak proves the poor security of Indian Government.

The recently happened reports suggest, UIDAI was asked by the media to stop such type of security flow. However, it is so much shocking that rather than fixing the problem, UIDAI blaming upon the media because they were reporting Elliot Alderson’s revelations.
