Xiaomi Mi 6X Will Have Snapdragon 660 Inside: Thanks to ‘Retail Box’ Image

Xiaomi Mi 6X has rumored couple weeks ago. Earlier we had not any confirmed image of its components that could confirm the key specs of this device or confirm even one component. Xiaomi has everything set to unveil its new device Xiaomi Mi 6X on April 25, 2018. Just before its official launch, a new exciting news popped up on the internet.

Snapdragon 626/660 or Helio P60?

We all know about the specifications of Xiaomi Mi 6X. When it comes to the chipset until now we have heard that it will have Snapdragon 626. However, there are some websites that show the probability of having the Helio P60. But, now new report popped up on the internet, confirms it will have Snapdragon 660 SoC. For now, we can say indeed it will have the Snapdragon 660 chipset under the hood because it is confirmed by the Xiaomi Mi 6X’s retail box image leaked over the Chinese website.

If the retail box image is not fake, undoubtedly it confirms it will have Snapdragon 660 SoC. We can also confirm further key specs including its camera, its model number and USB Type-C port provided on the phone. You can see, everything is described at the bottom of the retail box. It shows the device will have the dual rear camera setup which is going to be vertically positioned and will have the 20-megapixel sensor. On the front, the device also got the 20MP sensor.

The one major thing we should note here. If you have taken a closer look at the red highlighted box which shows the chipset information, you will notice these three texts are mentioned – AIE. AIE stands for Artificial Intelligence Engineering. The chipset will bring the AI features to the phone which will help to bring the improved performance od the camera results and different apps.
