Quick Charge 4.0 is over a year old and it’s not compatible with most of the flagships phone for some reasons. Most of the flagships use Qualcomm quick charge and some device like Google Pixel using USB-PD, Few other companies like OnePlus using term dash charging. Although, OnePlus is trying to ditch the term DashCharging as they didn’t mention the term dash charging while the launch of OnePlus 6.
The latest leaks suggest that MI 8 will support Quick Charge 4.0 which will be the 6th device that supports quick charge 4.0

As Qualcomm had announced during its launch, the Quick Charge 4.0 supported devices will be able to offer up to five hours worth of battery life with five minutes of charging. Along with support for USB Type-C, Qualcomm says Quick Charge 4.0 promises 20 percent faster charging, and up to 30 percent higher efficiency.
Xiaomi is not the first to provide Quick Charge 4, There are 5 other devices who already provided QC4 to their users.
